Thomas is a psychotherapist, author, social scientist, and management consultant with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of mental health, community wellness, and organizational strategy. He founded Sozo Group to bring mental health–informed consulting to the organizations and systems that serve underrepresented communities. Eric has spoken for organizations including TEDxDetroit, AARP, the American Psychological Association, Michigan State University, and Morgan State University, and is the author of The Truth We Owe Ourselves: Mental Health, Faith and Formation for Black Men.
